Emergency First Aid at Work
The SIA requires door supervisors and security guards to hold an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate before their licence training starts. It must have at least 12 months left before it expires.
What you will learn
- Your role as an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident and staying safe
- CPR and using a defibrillator
- Helping someone who is choking or bleeding
- Recovery position and dealing with shock
- Minor injuries, burns and seizures
Booking with your security course
Most learners take first aid on the day before their door supervisor or security officer course. Tell us when you enquire and we will book both together.
Close protection learners. Close protection needs a higher Level 3 first aid qualification, not the one day course. Ask us about the right option.
